table logging, only logs changes done via table maint ie sm30 and sm31. and only logs setup data elements.
thus there should be minimal overhead tracking those.
direct updates can only be tracked by the program/process that does them.

Subject: [sap-abap] how to know if a table has been updated
is there a way for me to know, in a zreport, if a standard SAP table has been updated, other than the log in the technical setting of the table?
it is heavy tables and logging them would slow down the system big time. __.____._
