Question from Fles1977 on Feb 15 at 2:55 AM Dear all, My client has no SAP yet. They want to create materials, upload the stock and create BOM's. After that they send BOM 111 to subcontractor AAA and BOM 222 to subcontractor BBB. Supplier AAA creates material A1 and supplier BBB creates material B1. After the assembly the suppliers send the materials A1 and B1 back to my clients storage location. Here they want to assemble A1 and B1 to end product C1. They want to sell or rent C1. I want to use a simple production order to assemble A1 and B1 to C1. Does this seem logical to you or would you use another option? Let's assume we use production orders, are there specific things I should be aware of? They don't want any fancy things, just take A1 and B1 into stock and when needed create a production order to assemble them to C1. What material master settings should I use? I suppose I need to create a work center and a routing... Should I need a planning of some kind or can I do without? If you need more information please ask. Any advice would be appreciated! | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
