It is not quite clear what you want to achieve. If you have a sales order in plant A, and the strategy there is MTO you can use STO (special procurement key) to pass the requirement to plant B. There you could set the individual collective indicator to 2:collective and have MRP create planned/production order as MTS.
When you say "change" the sales order, do you mean that production was for order 1, but now is being changed for order 2?
