Reply from chuamatt on Jan 6 at 4:29 AM Hi Aslam, Another option is to create a PO where quantity and unit is 12 mos. (1 year) and everytime there is a billing, you can do a goods receipt of 1 mo. Then do the MIRO (Invoicing). Then you can do three way matching. Thanks, Matt

Another option that I can suggest is create a regular PO with 100% as the quantity and unit. If you do a goods receipt, you can do partial goods receipt based on the percentage of the amount billed for the period. For instance you have a service contract worth $12,000 for one year (12 months). Create a PR with 100% as the quantity and unit of measure, then $12,000.00 as the amount of the PO. If you receive a billing for the first month worth $1,250.00. Just divide the billed amount from the total amount of the PO then multiply by 100%. For instance 1,250/12,000 *100 = 10.4166666.. round it of to max of three digits, which will give you 10.417. Use this value as your Goods Receipt quantity. Then do MIRO. Now, there is a three way checking of PO, GR, and Invoice (MIRO). Thanks, Matt | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community. Start today. _.____.__ |
