How on earth will someone learn ASAP methodology when this component is not loaded in the software? Secondly, why is that SAP authorised training centers do not offer the same? I say learn the jargon and procedures, then move on. DESH HYd

I recently got an offer from a training institute called "101erp". They are asking me to pay Rs.15000 and in turn get trained on live US -based SAP projects in the HR module. When I got a call from their HR team in the Chennai office, I insisted I need to talk to someone from their technical team. As such a guy from their US office (caller id. displayed a US phone no.) called after a few days. The guy form the technical team told me that they have a dedicated team of SAP trainers and consultants for almost all major SAP modules like CRM, FICO, MM, HR, PP etc. They devise projects and then market these projects to the companies in the manufacturing sector in the US. I asked the technical guy how do they devise projects without first knowing the client requirements, because he told me that the projects are first made then marketed to the prospective clients. To this he replied that 80% of the projects have standard features which are used by all the companies in the manufacturing sector and remaining 20% are the non-standard features which are customized as per the client's requirements after the client agrees to buy the project. They are claiming that after the project is completed, I will be given a certificate of experience in SAP Project implementation which I can use while applying for the profile of SAP consultant in companies (like IBM, Accenture) in the future I had some friends who are working in the SAP domain who say that the work of any live SAP project starts only after the client freezes all it's requirements and not that the 80% of the work is completed before approaching the client and 20% customized as per the clients requirements. Can anybody who is into SAP project implementation share any valuable information about the authenticity of this training institute called "101erp", because the 80-20 method they are suggesting is not sounding authentic. Also they are charging Rs.15000 from me. I feel that if they are selling those projects to companies after making them, they will be charging those companies as well and gain a fat revenue out of it, then why charge the people who are making the project, rather the people who are making the project must get a little share the revenue after the project has been sold to the client (if they are not pad any monthly salary). This also raises doubts about their authenticity. Can anyone in the SAP arena suggest what needs to be done in this regard?
