Reply from kmsram on Jul 16 at 1:36 PM As far as my knowledge goes there will be lesser preference for aged employees no matter how qualified they are -unless that qualification is in an area where there will be shortage of skills There are reasons for it 1 Lots of younger qualified people will be available @ more competitive salary 2. They do not come with baggage & hence moulding them to the organisation becomes easier 3 In the case of people (aged) who comes with baggage -it is double edged weapon-can be very useful with right skills ,attitude,& motivation & at the same time baggage may create the need for unlearning & relearning in the organisation -unless you are coming at a level where you can try to change the way --what your baggage is all about? All this is true in any market.

Did you have any experience as a SAP end user before the certification or only domain experience? I hear a lot about age discrimination with Indian employers. Did you have any such experience? | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
