Reply from JG-SAPHR on Apr 10 at 12:53 PM For the quota type in all the groupings check the config in V_T559L - Validity & Deduction periods. - In the validity part, if the start date = gen.date, then end date = gen.date + 12m will give the result you need. If end date = 999m from gen date, then it will give end date = high date (i.e., 31.12.9999). However, if there is an IT 2006 record already created with a validity end date greater than 31.12.2014 or the end date of the gen.year, then the generated accrual will be added to the existing record. Probably this is what has happened in your case. The IT 2006 with dates 12.12.2006 to 31.12.9999 may have been inserted manually or generated with a wrong config. This can be determined probably by running an infotypes change report with sel.input of the per.no & IT 2006. Find in this report the line which corresponds the record you are referring; get the details of this change; then you may be able to find who created & when initially. However if the time eval is run in the prod client with an individual person's user id, then you can not determine if the record was manually created or by time eval. As a best practice, prod.jobs are run with a generic id for a prod.user e.g. PROD01. Each such prod user id would be having a certain security profile so that it reflects the tasks/responsibilities associated with at user id. Batch jobs should be set up with such id's.
