I later got it. The P & L account statement (retained earning ) was not previously saved by me. I have to go back to it when I saw your response that I should check it. I clicked the top green button at the extreme left and the customization log was triggered for saving.... that was the trick. I later went to FS00 and it accepted the creation of the GL.
