Reply from JG-SAPHR on Mar 21 at 7:43 PM Hi, If the HRG characteristic is related to what a person does in a position, then it should be attached to the job that the position is assigned. The positions that a person holds is assigned to an org unit (OU). OU would be related to personnel areas and geography. Regards, JG
| | | ---------------Original Message--------------- From: Pratto Sent: Wednesday, March 21, 2012 7:18 PM Subject: How to Identify Employees in Reports Is there an accurate way to identify an employee's HR Generalist in reports and other downstream systems? Human Resource Generalists (HRGs) are assigned using the "290" relationship from a position to an org and can only have one per org. Some International HR Generalists are aligned by geography (personnel area), not by organization. Because some of our International HR Generalists are aligned by geography, the population of employees they support may be in different orgs within each country they support. In our current system we have no way to identify by employee these types of HRGs. Standard reports pull HRG using the 290 relationship to an org, and since an org can only have one of those relationships, the HRGs who must be aligned geographically are not reflected. Thank you in advance for your solution/approach. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
