Hello,
For me it is not clear the question.

Anyway as general suggestion, the report MB5B could help you to find out your analysis.
The report extracts all movements related to stock and those having an impact at accounting level without quantity changes, in other terms in MB5B you'll have both MB51 movements and MR51 movements. Furthermore it permit you to have retroactive analysis.

Try to see if it could help you. If useful please mark as helpful.

Rocco

Subject: F.01 Merchandise Inventory vs MB51

Hi,
May I request for clarification with regards to below:
The figures in F.01 Merchandise inventory does not tally with MB51 and MR51. We could not just come up with an FS report if management requires one immediately since we need to analyze as to what transactions are not to be included.

We remove from report those that are with no material codes which are mostly office supplies or any purchases that are charged to cost center. These are supposed to be under Expense account. We also remove entries with no SLOC (GRs for assets) which are then charged to COS.

What is the reference of F.01 - Merch Inv? What setting should we check so those charged to K or GR for assets not be part of the MB51?

Thank you so much for your time.

Regards,
HeleneG
