I used the direct input method and you have the correct object layout.
This input works with header and detail records. I chose to put both in the same input file, but I suppose one could use two files.
Also, I believe that the maximum input is 132 characters but am not sure.
It has been a while for me but I do believe the LSMW for task texts still is good in ECC 6
