Hi,
One of the reason is that there are several line items with different
profit center. So the line item for which it gave error is getting confused
about what profit center it should pick.
Let me know the reason with profit center in bracket.
To solve this error, you will have to manually give profit center in that
line item.
In Configuration go to:
IMG -->Financial Accounting(New) -->General Ledger Accounting(New)
-->Business Transactions -->Document Splitting -->Edit Constants for
Nonassigned Processes.
Here we need to assign Default Business Area/Profit Center/Segment for the
Controlling Area.
Maintaining Default Segment will resolve your issue.
Generally we will get this error while Posting Parked Documents, while
doing Payments through F110, while doing MIGO with reference to PO,
etc...
