Hello, I saw your posting while trying to research the logic used by SAP to link a Plan and a Claim. We use HRBENUS02 to report for the current and prior year plans. I'm sure you probably know this. Our FSA (Dependent Care) runs 05/01/YYYY to 04/30/YYYY+1. So, our current year is 05/01/2010-04/30/2011. Like you, we also have a grace period which ends 7/31/YYYY+1 (e.g. 7/31/2011 for the current plan). We have two Wage Types, one for the reimbursement and one for the pre-tax deduction. I can do various Wage Type and Infotype reporting to tie the data out on a detail level to HRBENUS02. Still, I'm not 100% on understanding how SAP knows what claim goes versus what plan year. Do you know if the link is based on PA0172-CODAT ("Date Cost Incurred" field)? Thanks. Erik Isaacs

Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2008 12:45 PM Subject: HR Benefits - FM to find FSA Claims Paid for Plan Year My current task is an ABAP program that shows FSA Account data (i.e. for a particular benefit plan, show the amount elected by the emp, contributed by the emp, and reimbursed to the emp, but only those items for a plan year. Claims for a previous year can be paid in Jan-Feb of the next year. The CRT does not seem to differentiate between years for this "overlap" period. I'm looking for a function Module that will return the total of claims paid for a particular FSA benefit plan for a plan year. I found HR_BEN_GET_SPEN_PLYTD_AMOUNTS which returns the current amount spent and current amount reimbursed for a plan year. My dilemma is that this FM includes reimbursements based on the plan year in which the payment was made, regardless of when the claim cost was incurred (i.e. a report for 2007 for a particular benefit plan shows everything that was paid in 2007 (including any claims incurred during 2006 but were reimbursed in 2007 ... claims for previous year can be paid in jan-Feb of the current year). It seems that there is an SAP FM for just about anything you might need. I just need help in finding the proper FM. Thanks, Tom | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
