Johan, I believe you need to change the field status group for the recon account found on the customer master. To get field status group for the recon account go to transaction FS00 enter the recon account and company number. Hit the Create/Bank/Interest tab. You will see the field status group. A transport is required to change the field status. In your development client go to the config transaction, OBC4. Choose the field status variant for the company and hit the field status group icon. We have field status group G067 for our Reconciliation Accounts. Anyway, select your field status group for your recon account. Hit the Field Status Icon. Double-click on the General Data line. For the file 'Reference specification 3' select the Opt. entry radio button and hit Save. Test by going to FB02. Enter a customer and company code for the company field status you just changed. Hit the Additional data icon and you will see the Reference field 3 is available for changes. If functions in development client as expected, transport up to production client. Barbara McCourt

My client has a need to change, or sometimes populate, XREF3 manually after the fact. They want to do this through transaction FB02. When they double-click the customer line in the document => Additional data, they can see XREF1 and XREF2. They can change or enter a value in XREF2, XREF1 is grayed out, but XREF3 does not appear at all. (it is defined as an optional field, just like XREF1 and XREF2). Any values in XREF3 do appear in the FBL5N list, but not when trying to access the individual documents. Any ideas? | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
