The posting date of the goods receipt entry you are trying to do in MIGO will link to a posting period.
Both the OB52 period control needs to have that period available to the user doing the entry as well as the material master period control needs to be available too.
Maybe its simply the MIGO goods receipt entry has the incorrect date ... correct that date if this is the problem.
Maybe its the finance period control that is not open for the date of the MIGO posting ... your finance person should control this, its done in transaction OB52.
Maybe the material period needs to be rolled forward ... it only allows 2 periods to be active, the current period it has been rolled forward to + the first previous period. It gets rolled forward using transaction MMPV.
MMPV is fairly straightforward.
OB52 ... the from period 1 to period is the period and year settings that are available to all users who belong to the authorisation group (last column).
The from period 2 to period is the period and year settings that are available to all users ... it is should be the current period for your company.

While doing posting PO in MIGO and it is showing another error as " Posting only possible in periods 2002/11 and 2002/10 in company code 9021"
Kindly guide me in this matter and tell me the full process to solve this issue. I don't know how to maintain period in OB52 .
