[sap-basis] Communication ID - type of the system it's connecting to

I have two communication ID in my BW system , RFCBWCLL and RFCCHEMIST
RFCBWCLL : -
Job :
No Job scheduled .
Program / Report :
SAPMHTTP
Program Functionality :
system routines for ABAP processing - which is doing a system-call plugin with id 'HTTP' .

1. The above ID has been used 13 times in last 11 months . ( Less usage )
2. It is calling the program SAPMHTTP and some functionality called RFC .
RFCCHEMIST:
Job ; No Job scheduled .
Program : No program found .
1. This ID has been used 19 times in last 11 months ( Less usage )
2. It is using some functionality called RFC and ALE .


Now I want to know what these ID are doing actually ? what is these functionalities ( ALE & RFC ) the ID is calling ? Are they critical ? If we change the profile ( replace profile SAP_ALL to a reduced access profile ) , will there be any impact ?
