An invoice generates Financial documents which are related to the state of the whole invoice. Changing 1 line of the invoice changes the state of the whole invoice. And thus the financial documents must be reversed and regenerated. I do not believe that such is possible without reversing the invoice and creating a new one. In other words, IMO, you have been asked to do the impossible (here I use impossible as a relative term. You could of course rewrite most of SAP, but I don't think that you will get paid to do so.)

Hi Neal,
thanks for your immediate response.
the requirement is without cancelling the invoice we have to cancel the line
items. i tried it but it is generating cancel invoice for those line items,
which i deleted. please give me your valuable suggestion in this regard.
