Hi All,
Please find the replies on these questions.
1) When we install GRC 5.3 RTA in this system then it over write the
existing VIRSA 400_700 release or installed in separate ??
Ans:- It will upgrade the existing VIRSA release with the newer release of
GRC 5.3.
> 2) We plan to take hole system backup before the installation. Including
this we need to take backup of the existing VIRSA 400_700 release. Then what
are the things i need to take backup and how ?? (tables of VIRSA backup only
how ??)
Ans:- It could be better to take hole system backup. And about the VIRSA
release we have to take the backup of the Tables.
By run of the below command you will get the list of VIRSA tables in the
database.
SQL> select TABLE_NAME, TABLESPACE_NAME from dba_tables where TABLE_NAME
like upper('%VIRSA%');
> 3)Any one have the RTA installation procedure please forward it ??
Ans:- Please install the base package of RTA as given in the note: 1133167
and 1133168.
After installing the base package, install the support packages
for VIRSNH and VIRSHR as given in the attached notes 1138018 and 1138042.
> 4) After installation how can i sure that install is success or not ?? how
can i check ??
Ans;- Check at SPAM for the component level. And after installation
functional testing will be done. then the rest of the GRC configuration will
start

after installation require(Procedure) ??
Ans:- In my scenario the configuration task is taken care by our security
team, where i have loss GRC configurations.
