This might work if the billing amount is based on a daily fee. However, how to resolve if the billing fee is a fix per month? ( so f.i. 150 euro per month, to be reduced to 120 in case of 1 week holiday, and not 5 euro per day, to be counted for the relevant number of days...)
Can anyone make a suggestion?

I have a question with regards to the billing of rent for a client:
Client invoices a monthly rent to their customers. This sounds ideally for a periodic (monthly) billing plan. However:
- Contracts can start/change in the middle of the month. It should be possible to only invoice only half of the month then.
- When the customer is on leave, they don't have to pay rent. f.e. 1 week leave during a month --> only 3/4th of the rent will be invoiced
Daily rent is not feasible because then the invoiced amount changes every month (months of 30 vs. 31 days)
Do you have any suggestions to solve these issues? Ideally the customer should be able to change the invoiced amount manually for one month within the contract itself.
