This makes no sense to me as a requirement

So you want to base costing on a FIFO basis but not enforce picking on the
same basis - warehouse could leave a big volume of cheap cost material for
years in a corner of the warehouse they don't fancy going to and always
pick the sparkly new product they always put nearest their terminal but the
accountants would be happy to class cost on a picked item at a rate that is
just completely wrong as the cost of the material dispatched is different
to the one the system wants to transact

And you want to do auto batch determination and create split batches
(potentially) on delivery items but try and disguise this on pick slips,
summarise costs on to a single invoice item (or still transfer the batch
split items for accurate cost and not affect the invoice print to the
customer)?

Is the requirement genuine to need to have split evaluation?

Subject: batch costing - split evaluation

I have a situation where we need to turn on batch management for costing purposes (FIFO) but do not want to pick by batch or affect the warehouse operations in any way.

Any suggestions on how this can be accomplished?
