If not then there were discussions that were carried out. i have tried to
consolidate their response :-
https://scn.sap.com/thread/1766030 - the problem was solved by running the
report RPTKOK00 by unchecking the option "Correct leave deduction".
https://scn.sap.com/thread/1794082 - where Kiran T Raj advised to check the
Absence Type Configuration;
Define Counting rules - check the Quota multiplier for hours and days.
Define Deduction rules for Absence and Attendance types - check whether
more than one Absence type has been assigned to the particular quota.

here the user was asked to check
1. IT2001 and IT2006 overview
2. quota deduction interval and absence counting rules
