Reply from JG-SAPHR on Nov 13 at 4:17 AM Terminating and rehiring in another position or OU or company on the same day would not be possible normally with the standard version. The SAP HR Management of Global Employees may allow this. See some links below. You can find a lot of info when you google. 1. SAP Help Portal 1.1. My client would like to Terminate the employee then Re-Hire the employee without a break in service. This is not possible because it would mean that for one day the employment status (STAT2 would be both 0 and 3 on the same day. As an alternative they would like to Terminate the employee then Hire the employee the next day resulting in a new PERNR being created for the employee. This will cause issues for downstream applications (Success Factors, BI, Security, etc..). I am wondering if there is a standard SAP solution that I am not aware of. We do not use CE functionality or IT 0031 (reference personnel number). Any information with your previous experiences would be greatly appreciated. We are a global company doing business in 40 countries. This is only an issue with the EMEA countries. Recently upgraded to ECC 608.
