First you need to define lead time in material master.
Second, it is your procurement department which need to spell lot size.
Third, initially you have to raise PO with manual requisition .
Next, after doing this also first two months system would warn you for the
shortages.
Thereafter your MRP cycle would give you results.

HI Experts,
My scenario is like we are getting the imported Material for our company after every 3 Months but here they are running the MRP every month .
So Please suggest how to plan for Imported Material through MRP .
Whether we should Plan for that Material i.e MRP TYPE PD or not .
Also tell me what lot size i should maintain along with Reorder Point . |
