Question from chuamatt on Nov 21 at 3:03 AM Hi SAP Experts, We have a user requirement where we need to enter the gross amount inclusive of Tax in PO. In order to compute for the input tax, we need to get the base amount of the gross amount and compute the 10% from the base amount. For instance: Gross Price: 110,000.00 Net Amount (Base amount) 100,000.00 Tax (10%) 10,000.00 To get the net amount, we follow the following formula: gross amount * ( Tax% / 100Tax%). = 100,000.00 To get the tax amount, we multiply the net amount (base amount) by 12%. = 10,000.00 In the condition type, we used the calculat.type of H (percentage included) where the computation is inclusive of tax amount. However, when we execute the config, the tax amount is computing incorrectly. Please see comparison below of should be and actual output. Ideal (should be) Incorrect Output Gross Price: 110,000.00 110,000.00 Net Amount (Base amount) 100,000.00 97,777.78 Tax (10%) 10,000.00 12,222.22 Thanks, Matt | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
