Our client is currently migrating data from legacy SAP ECC to new SAP ECC i.e. from old SAP to new SAP.
I am not sure on the below, please could you suggest the answers?
- Is there a need to have migration account (9 series) in the legacy system as a part of data migration (i.e. to make the exisiting GL accounts balance transferred to the migration account in the legacy system before the migration)? NOTE: I am talking about the migration account in the legacy system and not the new system.
- Not sure but If the answer to the above query is YES, will the above mentioned legacy migration account (9 series) will it be forming part of the SAP r3 trial balance?
All the suggestions would be a great help!!
