Reply from Nickdobson on Nov 1 at 10:31 AM If you attach the payment method to the line item, (and therefore the system does not pick up the payment method from the vendor master record) the automatic parameter rules are ignored.
Maybe this is the reason why you do not get any error message.

Thanks for your reply. Does the min amt. maintained in Paying Company code take precedence over Payment method in Company code? Even in this case, strangely, I am not receiving the above error message in Quality system.
