Reply from VidhyaDhar on Oct 15 at 4:17 AM Hi Ranadheer, Though you are correct in saying that one chart ( called the operating chart of accounts ) is used by a company code for booking day to operations, it is also possible for the company code to optionally use two more charts of accounts such as: Group chart of accounts ( for consolidating data from company code(s) and reporting at Company level using group account numbers and Country Specific Chart of Accounts for meeting country specific reporting requirements ( and such chart of accounts usually turns out to be a subset of the operating chart of accounts and the account numbers used here are called alternative account numbers).
