Reply from learning_CO on Aug 28 at 10:55 PM Hi TJ, The periods here match the calendar (P1 = January, etc), so the fiscal year follows the calendar year. Also, when I do AJAB, I choose 2012. Gary, for AFAB, I've done both "repeat" and "restart" for periods 1-8. I've tried doing P9 but then I get a message about doing appreciated in the future, and it posts an error document that I don't know how to view. So I do need to figure out how to post depreciation for periods 9-12, plus the 4 special periods? I presume, I also need to open periods through 16?

I am testing fiscal year-end close, here in August. When I got to AJAB, I get "Depreciation not posted completely". Please confirm my steps are correct: 1) AFAR - recalculate depreciation 2) AFAB - depreciation posting run 3) AJAB - fiscal year close. I've run depreciation all the way through August and still cannot close. Dearest gurus, where am I going wrong here? Thank you in advance for your help! | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
