Reply from ha_tran on Jun 11 at 7:46 PM Hi, From the material master maintenance point of view, it is not wise and recommended to define a new material ID for the same material item of different brands unless each brand has different technical specifications. A typical example is bearing for which procurement can be sourced from either SKF or FAG supplier. In this particular case, all you should do is to create one material ID and two vendors. Of course, you can maintain purchasing master data record such as contract or info record to represent the purchasing relationship between your material ID and vendors and the search of your material can be done via these master records. Cheers, HT
