Thanks for your feedback. However, since my condition record is used in purchasing (not FI), I need to maintain it via MEK1 so that once my PO is created, the tax code will be automatically defaulted.

Hi all,
I am currently defining the new custom condition record for tax condition type via MEK1 transaction and encountered the error message 06693 ''Tax indicator & not defined for country &''. What I have set up in my system were -
1) Set tax indicator for material via OMKK transaction;
2) Set tax indicator for Plants via OMKM transaction;
3) Set tax indicator for account assignment category via OMKL transaction;
4) Assign tax indicators for plants via OMKN transaction; and
5) Assign tax indicators for account assignments via OMKO transaction.
In addition to it, I have also completed the FI-related tax settings via OBBG and OBYZ transaction.
Does anyone have any hint on which configuration step I missed?
