Reply from ChrisO on Jun 12 at 10:21 AM If you can buy/make the set of 20 parts as a 'set' ('kit', 'box', pack' or other similar term) and your handling of the set is always as a 'set', such that the individual items are never identified individually within your business i.e. in purchasing, goods receipt, storage, movement and consumption. Then you can have one code. You would have to ensure, ideally, that the box/pack/kit of parts is never disassembled before it is issued to the machine. You'd have to use long text, wherever necessary, to identify what individual parts a kit of parts consists of, so it wouldn't be immediately obvious. These factors make it a less appealing choice. I'm basically agreeing with Ha Tran, but with a different point of view. Hopthishelps ChrisO

Currently, we have to create 20 material codes (spare parts). Is there anyway to create only one common material codes for all 20 parts? Thank you very much. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
