It's a very similar issue which I faced recently with one of our Discretionary Leave. Let me know if your client is using ESS. If yes then try to do it from the portal end and check how its reflecting. Make sure that in IT105 you are using a proper user name.
At the same time check the User Exit: UZXPADU02/01. Check if there is any rule written in user exit and understand the logic. This may help you.
PT_QTA00 is to generate and PT_qta10 is to display if you are absence quota is displaying properly then there is no issue with you quota configuration. However, check once again deduction rule and base entitlement rule V_556R_B. Check it with any other similar leave quota that exist in you system and which is working fine and compare it with your PL.

We are using time evaluation. The quota is getting accrued but not getting deducted after an entry in infotype 2001.
I have checked ESG groupings, PS grouping, counting rules and deduction rules as well. All are proper but then too absence quota is not getting updated properly.
Where am I making mistake?
