Hi SAP gurus,
Could someone help me? I am trying to post a billing document on a G/L account defined as profit and loss account but get following error message: Message no. KI235 Account 874005 requires an assignment to a CO object
Scenario is the following:
During sales document creation, profit center is determined via user exit based on table storing profit center / customer. Works fine when working with Revenue accounts.
However, trying to post on a profit & loss account, the system requires a cost center.
We used to store a default cost center in the cost element of this P&L account.
The problem is that the user would like to have a cost center derived per customer as well.
Thus I tried to manually mention the cost center in the sales order as the field is available for input. But I still received the same error message. It seems that the system do not consider the value mentioned in the cost center field in the sales order.
Any idea how to change it?
Considering that I do not want to work with a default cost center.
