IMO, there is not enough info in your post.
If I were you. I'd start setting a break-point before the call transaction and checking the contents of i_bdc_tab.

When attempting the following call it does not walk through the production order change screen, rather it just returns with no errors and no processing. Normally you walk through the screen with option A but this time nothing appears to be happening. Any thoughts?
