Hi Dinesh, but even in option A, which is a x64 Windows the app will be running in 32 bit mode. So, it still has the limitation of 4 gb memory? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi everyone,
I'm installing BPC for production environment. BPC NW Component over AIX/Oracle - This is ok
BPC .NET component over Windows Server 2008 - Question.
In BPC .NET component is going to be installed over a server blade with 6core processor and 32 gb of ram.
So having this hardware in mind, which will be best option to maximize the hardware features.
a. Install BPC .net component over WIndows Server 2008 Standard or Ent x64 wich will support the full memory, then activate the IIS flag to support 32 bit application.
b. Install BPC .NET component over WIndows Server 2008 Enterprise x86 which will support the full memory (PAE enable) and run the app in 32 bit natively
c. Install BPC .net component over Windows Server 2008 Standard x86 which will support only 4 GB memory and run the app in 32 bit natively.
Doubt: In option b, does the .NET app is aware and benefit of all the memory available (32 gb) with PAE enabled or will be the same as option c because 32 bits app can only work with 4 gb restriction?
