There never was a problem with the system. What you have wanted to see is
correct and the system does exactly that. The problem was with what you
were displaying. Change the display currency to Local Currency and you can
see the exchange rate difference.

I am not sure if it was a real problem any longer. Perhaps I wanted the system to do what it isn't built to do? I was hoping that the system would generate a DIE of 3000 automatically when clearing the open item from the customer's account, and using f-28. But is this really correct? Is the system capable of doing this?
