Hi renuka,

You will require ROOT user to execute saproot.sh.
This is a script to provide necessary permissions to all files of kernel directory, where your saposcol resides. It must be running under ROOT user.

Let us know how it goes.

SD

Subject: SAPOSCOL is not running in FCI system....

Hi All,

The saposcol is not running in FCI system.

when i did OS logon to the system it showed that :

-> usr/sap/tmp/dev_coll.tmp failed....
->cannot open log file usr/sap/tmp/dev_coll.tmp.
->make sure the directory exist usr/sap/tmp.
->in profile and run saposcol pf = <profile>

but the file dev_coll.tmp file exist in the tmp directory.
If so what s the error and how to rectify it ????
