Hi,

PA20 transaction is only for display irrespective of P_Orgin authorization level E,S,W.....

If PA30 is assigned as T-code and also P_Orgin with E,S,W only then user can do some modification in Infotype data, W is for write/Change but E is to create infotype record but in Lock status only (Inactive) and some one else with authorization level S or W can access and unlock (activate) that particular record

Thanks & Regards

Subject: Access to PA20 PRMS - for audit purpose

Hi Jayeda

To maintain empl data, you need access to txns PA30 (Maintain) & PA40 (Personnel actions). PA30 is to maintain one infotype at a time. PA40 can change several IT's along with IT 0.

Your manager needs to allow these txns. If the IT is like basic pay IT 8, then you may need further access to employee's payroll data.

Your Security consultant may be able help you re: which are the access requirements. Also if you find access problems during a transaction execution, then ask your him/her to set a trace for your user id before you start the trxn. When you hit the access problem, he/she can go thru the trace and see what is the problem and accordingly correct the access.

Hope this helps.
Regards, JG
