How is the table behind the ALV grid defined? Is it possible that the fields that are not showing up are marked as "NO_OUT" or "TECH" in the field catalog? By the way, how are you generating the field catalog?

Thanks for the replies.

I tried changing field types as characters but it did not solve the issue. I used the FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY for implementing ALV. I tried using REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY and found that the problem is persisting and the display is affected when running in the foreground also.
