Subject: Read/Access to a generated file by a Z program

Hello gurus,

I have one doubt which I will try to explain...! We are creating/generating a file through a Z program in SAP and this is been written directly on a local directory (Linux RHEL). The file is always created with owner <SID>adm and sapsys group with permissions read and write for them (660)... the problem is that this file must be accessed for other process in SAP and the users can not read these files which were generated before! How we have to do for resolve this situation?

I can changing the permissions to those files, directly in Linux operation system through chmod command... but for me this is not functional, because this is a diary process and this should be run automatic without human intervention/adjust!

Any tip?

Thank you,
Joao Dimas - Portugal
