You can retire the asset. Entry for retirement using ABAON will be:
Dr Gain/Loss retirement
Cr Asset
Then you reclassify Gain/Loss retirement to Donation expense using ordinary JV:
Dr Donation expense
Cr Gain/Loss retirement

As a public entity we often get assets donated e.g. land
How do we record these in SAP? - debit asset, credit ????
Is there an SAP standard for recording donating assets if so what t.codes?
