I would go for Profit Centres under a single company code: The details of setting up PCs are too extensive to go into here, but you can get consolidated reporting at company code level and separate P & L and B/S at PC level.

Thanks Roy for replying. Under US company code we have many divisions and sales org. we want to simplify our business process by splitting each sales org. into a company code,these will be created as legal entities but we wont be running any MM transactions in these new company codes, only for the sales transactions and generation of billing documents, when billing doc.is generated, and customer made the payment, we use inter company transactions to manually clear customers and post the document in parent US company. we are still under thought process and trying to get a business proposal that work in our scenario. Cuz if we create company codes as full functional companies , we will have to run ,3,4 separate month ends , business don't want that , so we are trying to consolidate all newly created company codes under a umbrella of main US company, How do we get the consolidated B/S for main US company code ?or what could be other ways to accomplish it.
