Hi,

You can not maintain Vendor Master for Central Function in various company
code, but you have create vendor master for one company code, then you have
extend the same vendor remaining company codes.

Unfortunately, your internal SAP analyst's statement is incorrect. You can extend the vendor master to various company codes.
