You are welcome of course. Well, I am not a true database basis specialist I have to admit, but what I can say is that at least all SAP Notes I found which deal with SAPDBMRFC in any way are for SAP MaxDB or SAP Livecache.
Maybe our colleagues in this forum will have some more information regarding this last question.
Sorry for not being able to be more definite regarding this one.
