Absolutely in agreement with David. Robert, please find all the information related to developer keys in SAP Note 86161 (Registering developers and objects).
Deletion of SSCR keys has consequences, so please check corresponding documentation and disclaimers before doing so.

This message was last answered in 2006 more than 4 years ago. Deleting the developer key in the market place will not delete the developer in tour system. You need to delete the developer Key in table DEVACCESS.
