I found the solution to be very simple. Just increase the virtual memory of your personal PC . That's it!! That's the solution! At least for me.

Hi,

I am on SAP 640 beta release level when trying to upgrade my SAP GUI version to 710 it throws an error. The error is " installation failed, SAP GUI 7.1 Installation requires 1gb of free space".

I have C and D in my computer and both have around 5 GB of free space left. I do not know what file space it si checkin prior to the new installation. Any suggestion or help will be appreciated.
