Confirmed. I use the standard Profit Penter derivation and then the Segment Derivation.

Any other ideas?

Subject: COPA, how to derive Profit Segment as a characteristic

In COPA I created a characteristic "Segment". I am trying to use Define Characteristic Derivation, T-code KEDR to derive and populate the Profit Center Segment characteristic.

I use "Table Lookup" with table CEPC.
In the source field for table lookup the following 3 fields appear and are mapped to COPA fields:
CEPC PRCTR Profit Center
CEPC DATBI Valid To Date
CEPC KOKRS Controlling Area
In the Assignment of table fields to target fields the CEPC Segment field is mapped to the COPA segment characteristic.

The problem is it does not derive the Segment!

Am I doing something wrong? Is this the best way to determine the Profit Segment? Have you seen this before?
Any help will be highly appreciated!!
