Hi All ,
The mail and countermail session was interesting ;
SAP global standard says any procured material ( raw mtrl ,
consumables , pckg mtrl etc ) will be valued at MAP and semi finished
/ finished good which has a BOM will be at Standard .
Now when a cost estimate is done and costs are released the materials
which are under MAP also updated and their costs are stored in STD
price field only for information purpose .
The client who is asking for raw matrl prices as standard could be
convinced this way , once standard cost estimate for all FG/ SFG are
released the prices for all ROH / CON / VERP ( part of BOM ) could be
seen as standard price too in material master .

Is there any way to upload moving average prices during the data migration separately ?
Moving average prices are required in the opening balances as the go live is in Jan, and the stat audit is based on moving average prices
The company is following a standard costing system and the standard prices are part of the upload programs.
