My purpose is not to offend you or find fault with you , which please
understand.
Yes.....As Kalpesh said you could have spelt the word depreciation right.
Let me furnish an extract of your post below ( let me reiterate that I am
not doing this to hurt your sentiments in any way)
You filled & look into the
depreciation started date in the AS02 Column. Change it to the date from
which you need to depreciate...
Feel free if you still face the problem.
While I can pretty well understand your enthusiasm in wanting to help
someone with a solution, the purpose is not met in full if it is not
presented in a comprehensible manner , especially in terms of linguistic
requirement. I hope you agree with me.
It is also quite likely that your train of thought in proposing a solution
possibly prevented you from bothering about the correctness of language
which you used. I fall a prey to this problem myself quite often ( try to
read my posts some day.....and you would see and laugh at the grammatical
, spelling slips and typos I have made)
However, please understand that a fair ( if not good) presentation in terms
of language is equally important as the correctness of the problem /
solution itself you have to offer. Since this forum comprises people from
all over the world communicating using English as the common language, it
becomes essential that one avoids ambiguity of expression so that everybody
understands correctly what is being presented.
I hope you do not take me amiss. Do not feel down and feel shy to present
your posts......Just equip yourself with better presentation skills in terms
of language and then charge , ahead......
