Hi Abap Junior,

Even though the material group is at the PO item level, it does not mean you can't use material group as part of the PO release procedure. All you should do, in support for the cases where multiple line items are maintained in the PO with different material groups, is to assign the ''blank'' value to the material group release characteristics of a particular release strategy in CL20N transaction so as to trigger the release strategy as well.
